Hound and Howl is currently seeking a Production Manager, for a rapidly expanding team. 

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful Production Manager will be a driven and enthusiastic leader with a proactive approach. 

You will ideally have experience of working in a fast paced food manufacturing environment.

The successful Production Manager will have strong communication skills with the ability to coach, develop and motivate a team, to achieve productivity and able to influence a culture of continuous improvement. 

You will be managing our team of Production Operatives and overseeing the day to day running of the production area of the factory. This is a very hands on physical role.

As well as leading your team to success, you will also need to balance efficient manufacturing processes, process improvements, working to food safety and health and safety standards.

Production Manager Responsibilities include:

• Being part of the management team embedding business values
• Delivering the training plan and ensuring multi skills across all areas
• Be the driving force for increasing production, whilst maintaining the highest of standards

Required/ Preferred skills:

• Food manufacturing experience (minimum 2 years)
• People management experience 
• Experience or understanding of legal compliance 
• Ability to prioritise and adapt
• Excellent IT skills
• Great communication and leadership skills
